Thanks so much"

Update:

"Have installed the entire set and they are terrific when the temperature drops as it did to 7 degrees C (45 degrees F). the other morning....

Developers Notes:  (We have been testing the Air Chaps in all kinds of weather.)

Riding in Rain

In heavy rain a normal rain suit over your riding clothes will keep you quite comfortable. The Air Chaps deflect the direct impact of the rain so all you feel is mist collecting on the surface of your rain suit. The chilling effect of rain hitting your legs is gone. Spray still comes in over the top of the windshield, so a face shield and a close fitting collar around your neck are required to prevent water going down your neck. With waterproof over-gloves  and boot covers you can ride extended distances and stay comfortably dry.

Cold Weather Riding (less than 60 degrees F)

The Air Chaps  block all of the direct air on your legs and feet and block the air stream that normally comes up over the top of the fuel tank and into your chest and up to your face. In under 60 degree F (15 degree C) weather you stay warm with normal cool weather riding clothes. The main difference is your knees and legs are not exposed to the cold air stream and your face only feels light turbulence. Riding with an open face helmet and a partial visor is not a problem. Below 47 degree F (8 degrees C), a cold weather jacket and a light pair of sweat pants under your regular pants will keep you comfortable.
Your hands are fully exposed, so a selection of riding gloves is needed to cover the range of temperatures expected.

Warm Weather Riding

Warm weather riding is very pleasant since you are not fighting the air blast and can sit back and relax as you ride. In extremely hot weather (more then 98 degrees F, 37 degrees C) the Air Chaps block the direct hot air stream and prevent you from absorbing more heat as you ride.

Two Up Riding

The Air Chaps provide a reduction in the large scale turbulence that both the rider and passenger feel, and reduce the direct air blast on the passenger.

More to come ....
